    MF35 power steering leak

I have searched this topic and I know there are LOTS of problems with this system. My issue is the power steering fluid is leaking from the cylinder back into the steering housing until it fills the housing then begins to leak the fluid out around the allen head screws that hold the rack in...

    MF35 power steering leak

I am hoping I found my problem. Bad seal under the control valve was letting fluid lead back into the housing. Fingers crossed this fixes it.

    MF35 split reassembly

I have had better luck when the PTO is engaged and a second person is gently, very slowly turning the PTO shaft while I push the two parts together. Also have to be sure the bell housing is lined up and parallel to the adapter plate on the engine. When it all lines up just right it will slip...

    Ferguson 40 bevel pinion

I believe the MF50 or F40 are the same except for sheet metal. Some MF35 also use the same rear end. I used a rear end from a MF50 on a MF35. Neither had a locking differential.

    MF- 202 Steering Valve

I had a similar problem with a TO35. Found a fix online that was much cheaper than a new spool valve. https://www.external_link.com/threads/mf135-detroit-power-steering-leak-from-vent.33905/ Basically it is drilling and tapping the housing just above the steering shaft seal. Install a...

    MF- 202 Steering Valve

I had this problem with a TO35. I did not want to buy a new spool so I went with this solution. Drill and tap a fitting just above the seal on the steering column. Run a line from there to T in with the return line back to the pump. Excess fluid that gets past the seal will then be directed back...

    MF steering sector

I will try to post pics this evening of the 2 that I have. I am in Southern Illinois. Email is [email protected] If you contact my email it will be easier for me to send pics. I have had trouble with pics on this forum in the past. I have no clue what the shipping costs would be.

    Z134 Carb issue

This tractor was pulled out of the weeds at a salvage yard about 3-4 years ago. Nonrunning with a cracked block. Original carb was never used and no idea of past history of the tractor. It runs fine now, (has about 225 hrs on the rebuild) just have this problem with the carb loading up.

    Z134 Carb issue

Z134 with aftermarket Marvel Schebler look-a-like carb. Runs fine, starts good when cold. But when engine is stopped when hot and then try to restart a couple minutes later it is flooded and loaded up with fuel. I am a carb idiot, which is why is just bought a new one and bolted it on. I have...

    35 seat

I am slowly restoring a 1961 MF35 diesel. Its NOT going to be all original as I had to replace the engine and I added a power steering box from a salvage tractor. I am interested in what others have to suggest in the way of suspension seats. I have the original but curious if anyone has found a...

    TO 35 rod bearings

Good luck, you will be happy you went all the way when done. I have a z134 that has cam wear and there are NO cam bearings ath other poster has stated. I should have replaced my camshaft, but it is what it is and runs fine but a little noise from the cam wear.

    35 perkins diesel fuel filters

I have a project 35 with the 3.152 engine. No fuel filters were on it when I got it. Can someone give me the fuel filter numbers you use? I have used NAPA filters in the past, but I'm not partial to any brand. I also do not know the oil filter number, so if you have it please share it as well.

    AD3.152 engine swap

Since the flywheel and clutch were a bit different I am going to go with the flywheel and clutch that came off the A3.152, since I know it will work on my 35. The AD3.152 from the MF40 has a 12" drive disc and is a different setup.
