    crankshaft stroking

    Engelkee machine in Lester Prairie did the 6.25" crank in the 5 star we pull with. They welded it some and offset ground to a 283 rod journal. If I remember right it was around $1500 with balancing. It is pushing 10 years ago though.

    Try Agri-Services in NY. If they don't have the blueprint they can copy yours if you have a complete harness yet.

    I always just eyeball it. Can get them pretty close by tightening pressure plate bolts just enough that you can still wiggle clutch disc to where it needs to be then tighten down fully.

    I've used a small amount of permatex aviation form a gasket on shims to help hold them together and keep from seeking oil. Never had any adverse effects.

    That filter has been discontinued by mainstream filter manufacturers for several years. Welter's Farm Supply in MO can get filters. I believe they are being made in limited custom runs and are pricy. There are also several people who sell adaptors for them to convert to a readily available...
