    Thanks for the reply. We are planning on dropping the pan to investigate. I found an older post about using the smaller pump. Thats probably the route we will go.

    A friend of mine has a tw35. When he changes the engine oil it acts like it looses its prime. He fills the filters before installing them. It takes a long time to build oil pressure when starting after the oil change. Over a minute, not just seconds. After that it has oil pressure instantly...
