    What to seal with?

Late answer, but I'd pull fender deciding. If it looks as I'd expect it would get a patch of 16ga metal and mig weld in place, followed by seam sealer.

If the engine has a compression release, it may not be working. Common issue with some engines. More engine info will help.

    Case 644

Also, https://salempwr.com/ He has all the parts catalogs on line and has great customer service. Prices are about the same everywhere, unless you source used parts. I have some used stuff left over from my days of selling on ebay. Mostly pumps and differential parts. One common issue with...

    Fluid level..

My Kawasaki engines and JD transaxles all say not to screw in. All from the 90s or 20s. Seems the be the standard now, not so much in the past.

Woods 1260 rotary mower (10 foot) blades getting out of time and hitting each other

I would so similar, except the filler/bonder would be a soft or medium urethane casting compound. I'd bet that is what is in there now, not actual rubber. One would have to be sure to center the shaft so it didn't wobble. That stuff is available from McMaster-Carr among others. 25 cubic...

Toro 223D with Mitsubishi L3E engine

I would expect a low compression engine to puff white smoke, unburned fuel. Black says it's getting fuel, and sorta burning but not cleanly. Not starting hot indicates that glow plugs won't help. Setting valve clearance and checking injection timing don't cost anything and can't hurt.

Outlook, error message, any one know how to fix?

Found this on a MS forum: I have solved my problem as the following step. Start\Control Panel\Programs\Default Programs\Set Default Programs Pick up "Outlook 2016" in Programs left Click "Choose defaults for this program" check "Select All" Click "Save" Done I hope this will help you.

    What am l missing

I don't see any mention of oiling the cylinders. Any engine that has set for some time will have flash rust on the bores. That makes it hard to turn. If you haven't already, give each spark plug hole a dose of ATF, then turn by hand to spread the lube around. Let it set for at least a day...

24 hp 48 inch husqvarna transaxle?

Tuf-torque recommends 20w50 full synthetic motor oil in older units. Even those that JD wants you to use use their brand. My thoughts are any full synthetic multi is good

When did you last use one of these?

Yep, every glass shop I've seen keeps a little container of Kerosene near the cutting bench, with the cutters standing in it. I even have one that has a hollow plastic handle that gets filled with kero. Has a spring loaded valve in the bottom, just tap on it and the wheel gets a shot of...

Owatonna / Mustang 770 wheel loader weak hydrostatic drive

Ah, that explains the clutch question for me. One thing that may account for the weaker performance of the new engine is the governor setting. Is it running at the same RPM as the old one? Really common for engines to be set at different speeds for different uses. You really need the...

Owatonna / Mustang 770 wheel loader weak hydrostatic drive

As a general rule, never block the output of a hydraulic pump. I've seen drive tangs broken, pump cases split, all sorts of carnage as a result of that. I'm curious as to the clutch arrangement. I've never seen a flywheel, clutch and pressure plate that could be removed and reinstalled...

    The old glass water jug.

Same on Granddads place. But jug was wrapped in burlap and kept wet so we had cool water.

Yep. Forgot I'd already hit it. Most forums don't allow that.

    655d sheared oil pump.

Yep, especially when the old thing was burning oil and the owner 'fixed' it with 40 or 50w oil at zero or so. I think I recall Ford increasing the size of the hex sometime in the 60s 'cause it was so common.. Also have seen it happen with the old Y blocks when someone put in a high volume...
