Case Hand Cranks

Are Case hand cranks universal for some models? I need a hand crank for an SC and was wondering if cranks off of other models (VC DC 300 ?) would work. I am also wondering if anyone has the dimensions of the crank readily available. I am considering making or having one made until I can find an original. Thanks

The hand crank on my '47 VAC is different from my '45 SC. And The crank for my SC doesn't fit on my buddy's '49 SC.... that means they had at least a few different designs. good luck

We have a 1943 SC that has the " free turning " hand grip.Both of our new 1950 DC,s had a larger dia.piece of steel that the crank was made from and it they did not have the free turning hand grip.

I forgot to mention that the DC cranks are interchangeable with a CC hand crank.

I had a chance to remember to get pics today. CM posted good measurements for a DC and hopefully you can see the differences for the SC and the VAC. All are from AWF tractors. Hope this helps, Mike
