    cub snap ring

    What lock ring does it take for the differential shaft on a Cub tractor? The part number is 350 802 R1, the slot with the bearing on the shaft is to narrow for any snap ring I have to fit. Is it a spiral type or outside snap type?? Thanks for any help Dave

    Oliver 60 generator

    I have a (Cockshutt) Oliver 60 1942. It has been converted to 12 Volt but still has a cutout regulator.     Rear end oil

    What is the correct oil for the rear end on a COOP B2. I opened the level plug and the oil that came out was very thick. It is cool here today but not that cool. I have no manual for this tractor and shooting in the dark so to speak. Thanks Dave

    cockshutt 540

    I have a Cockshutt 540 with a leaking torque generator, I have had it rebuilt but the input shaft has a grove wore in it. Problem is in put shaft has splines, new ones do not. Anyone crossed this bridge before? Dave

    "G" engine noise update

    Found the noise, loose rod, installed new rod and main bearings, rebuilt oil pump, ground valves, oil filter, spark plugs, points, throw out bearing (why not) and a few items I broke in the process and it runs super.. As suggested I buy a Lotto ticket, not yet. Dave

    "G" engine noise

    I am working on a "G" tractor, it starts fine but when you throttle up it has an engine noise, rattle or knock. I have remove fan belt to eliminate gen and fan shaft. Sound low in engine, any ideas?? My next step would be pull pan, but thought I would ask first. Dave
