    Steve, I have five different types of those meters (including that one)along with the timing light and remote start switch. I just looked at mine and the ribbed is red and smooth is black. I also have the manuals.

    If that filter is really dirty, it could be icing up around the probe, and with the fan on all the time, it would melt it off when compressor shuts down, clean that filter! :lol:

    sounds like , with the fan off, the temp probe is reading coil temp. due to the sensor laying against the coil, locate the probe (sensor) and move it away from coil, sensor is usually on the discharge air side (room) of inside coil

    Bosch # 16405 look at the specs for this one, if memory serves me, it should fit. If not look up ford festiva or pinto, 79-80 era as some of the them used the same motor. best of luck

    check your zone (temp) sensors for dust, you can use a can of aerosol air for computers to blow the dust out

    JMS THANKS! That is why I love this site! A simple solution to my loader vs skid steer control dyslexia! All I need to do is fab up the loader handle from horizontal to vertical to match my skid steer, Duh, sometimes I can't see the woods due to the trees!! Forward down and pull back for up
