    Serial numbers

    Was wondering if there is a way to find out the serial number of a tractor based on the engine serial number. My brother has an R with a good engine tag but the tractor tag is damaged right in the middle of the serial number. Any help is appreciated.

    Steel tag z

    Recently purchased a Z with a steel tag that is hard to read. I can see the Z stamped in it but can't make out the serial number.I have tried chalk but that didn't help. Anybody have something that will help bring out the numbers. Think I will try brake clean then maybe a light sanding. Thanks...

    New Holland 359 grinder mixer

    Update on our 359 mixer that broke the output shaft. We could not find any used parts or new. Machine shop would make one,maybe $3500 to $4000. If they had the blueprints for it probably cost $1200-$1500.We decided to have it welded at a machine shop. Haven't got it all back together yet...

    I thought I should give an update on the grinder mixer that quit mixing. The output shaft was broke right at the auger. New Holland price for shaft is $680.00. But it is no longer available. Tried some salvage yards but haven't found anything yet. Thinking about welding but that would take some...
