    John Deere hydraulic steering valve

Did you get this valve sold? I'm assuming so since I can't find one but mine just went to pot.

    John Deere LLA grain drill

This is evidently called a Rangeland land measurer according to what I finally found through some research. Most JD dealers have no idea. I would guess you calculate your distance traveled in rods , 16 feet, and multiply that by the width of your drill to calculate square footage. Then divide...

    John Deere LLA grain drill

That was my guess and the you'd have to figure the width of the drill to calculate an acre.

    John Deere LLA grain drill

The bottom is the one I have. Never have seen one before. Think it has to do with distance traveled somehow.

    John Deere LLA grain drill

I just bought a JD LLA grain drill with steel packer wheels in extremely good condition but, it has a distance or acre meter on it I have never seen before. It doesn't measure acres or 10ths but must measure distance??? It has 3 or 4 dials on it but no real measurements listed on the different...

    Antique CASE grain drill parts

I have seen old posts you made about having JI Case grain drill parts. I have what I believe to be an L. I need a right hand cast engagement gear for the seed feeder rods?? Would you happen to have anything like that? I can take a pic of where it goes if that would help. Thanks.

    Case grain drill

Wish I did have the pieces I would weld them myself. That's the problem it broke somewhere out in the field. Thnx just the same.

    Case grain drill

Have a broken cast, drive hub???, on the right side of the seed box, on what I think is a D series Case drill. Anybody have any parts? I have it pinned but I either have to shut the seed gates down or empty all the seed when transporting or I'm seeding the roads. I can supply a pic and/or...

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

Second question, would you think replacing the valve itself would be helpful at all? They are pretty pricey and may not help, but a jerky clutch is not fun when hooking up equipment or trying to ease into anything with a loader. Thank you again.

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

I see. Your parts diagram is different than mine in my parts/repair manuals. So you are talking about replacing the springs that operate the clutch valve itself rather than the ones operating the pressure regulating valve? Maybe a person should change all 4 of them? Appreciate your follow up...

    You mean #16 & #18 I assume. Thnx.

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

I am going to try that. The pressure is running about 125# which is a little low so I'm thinking that may help. Appreciate your comments.

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

Don't think so they seem tight. It does it mostly in the lowest gears not in the higher so I'm thinking springs and shims may help a little. Thank you for the input just the same.

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

I think it was more of a miss-statement rather than a different repair. Since seeing that, I have looked everywhere and no one else has mentioned it. Regards.

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

I have this diagram and it is part #19. But in another post someone mentioned the upper and lower springs which are in the outer part of the housing that needed shimmed which didn't make sense to me, and I didn't see any shims. I think they meant the outer and inner springs associated with...

    JD 4230 Jumpy clutch

I know this has been addressed before and I know the springs in the clutch valve (Quad Range transmission) probably need to be replaced due to the tractors age. The question I have is, if when I test the pressure at the clutch valve and it's either in or out of spec, there are shims that can go...

I didn't but I found the ad and unfortunately the loader mounting styles are completely different. Many thanks though for the information it is certainly appreciated. Have a Happy Easter.
