    Youngest son fabbed up the turbo inlet piping for me utilizing most of the factory 404 inlet pipe.Had to buy a 180 degree pipe from summit.Turned out pretty good.Need to replace the cab mounts next..man those darn things are expensive!

    Around here 7k-15k depending on condition and options such as a loader,hi-lo trans,rollguard etc.Hours and condition are the main factors determining value.

    Started tractor,lube,pto clutch,traction clutch and standby pressures all good.Still need to sort out turbo inlet piping.

    Great picture!I like SoCal weather this time of year.Was born in Pamona,dad had a dairy in Chino.Was 10 when we moved to Southwset Washington State to continue milking cows.Mainly rain and clouds this time of year,average temp around 41 degrees.

    Yea was going to do that but I found an engine from a 7720 combine that has the correct bolt size/pattern that'll work with my frame rails.Thinking a 466 turbo in a 4230 will make a nice little tractor out of it.

    Deere 30 series pilot bushing/hex drive

    Used to pack grease into center of pilot bushings and use a snug fitting drift to push them out,if this one is hollow all the way through I'll try that and maybe save 180 bucks.Thanks wore out and tims.

    Is the pilot bushing/hex drive that goes in crankshaft still available from Deere?Going to put a combine engine into a 4230 tractor.Couldnt find it in parts book.I suppose I can use the one in the broken 404 that came out of tractor.Thanks

    Hauling a 6622 combine

    Anyone ever haul a deere 6622 hill side combine?Thinking the only safe way would be a lowboy.I have a 25 foot 22k deck over trailer but that combine is probably too big for it.Never been around combines so dont know if its doable with my trailer.Any comments greatly appreciated.
