That's how I tried to adjust it. I put it in position control, arms all the way down (like in draft control) then moved lever to bottom. I did the adjustment on the bolt but I couldn't turn it enough to get a quart inch gap. It pretty much tightened up with only about 1/8 inch gap. It works... -

Yes. I put a piece of tape on the quadrant to be sure. I should add I don't know anything about using draft control but the way it's acting doesn't seem right unless it behaves considerably with an implement attached. -

What is the purpose of the pin in a draft control spring plate on a Jubilee
My Jubilee came with a vane pump that didn't work so I converted to piston. But I don't see how that's relevant to the pin in the draft control spring plate. Anyway I replaced the pin with a larger one so I'm set.- Winch

I gave up on disconnecting the rod from the plunger on the one with a stuck pin. I went ahead and put it all together with the rod I straightened then it adjusted properly now that I have the bushing for the swivel on correctly. Put it back on and it works better than before in some respects... -

I got the new parts I bought on eBay. There is a difference in the draft plunger and control link rod from mine. The two are still attached and I am having to drive the pin out of the fork. On mine it is a loose fit. Which is right? I thought I'd use the newer one since I had to straighten... -

Here is a pic of my cam edge. It has a slightly raise edge on both sides (with a dip in between). Does that mean this cam is not too worn being it still has 2 distinct edges? The one I just bought is smoother all the way across. I'll add pics of it tomorrow as I'm soaking it in cleaner tonight. -

I took the draft link rod off again, turned the bushing around and tightened the nut down to the shoulder of the bolt. The spring now measures 3 9/16. It appears that what was a recommended adjustment on an 8N is now a set standard on an NAA -

I wasn't planning to use any oil as I figured it would get plenty of hydraulic fluid splashed up there but I was planning to use anti-seize on the yoke to draft plunger. Is that bad as well? -

NOW I see the problem. I put the bushing on backwards. The collar goes in, not out. You can see it in that last pic. That will throw the initial adjustment off and for sure would effect have draft control would work. Since I have to take it all apart again I'll put the one I just bought on...
