    The serial number is from 1960. The diesel engines used in North American 65s were the Perkins A4-203 indirect injection first and the AD4-203 direct injection later. A 1960 model would have the indirect injection.

    Low Multi-Power is completely mechanical. It drives thru an over-running clutch. That is why they free wheel in low and will continue to work even if the high side doesn't. High M-P is engaged with a hydraulically activated clutch pac. The hydraulic pressure for that is provided by a second pump...

    What you have labeled as the lift pump is actually the auxiliary pump and a 50 would not have IPTO.

    The 3ph valve is in the pump housing. Have you made sure it is moving in and out. I have seen that valve stick before resulting in no lift.

    What are you referring as a "pto arm"? Do you mean the 3 point hitch arms? If you do mean the 3ph, you are seeing the classic symptoms of a worn out hydraulic pump.

    Are you saying that oil is leaking from the clutch housing? If that is the case, you do NOT want to seal the oil in there where it will get on the clutch and cause more problems.

    If that plate is on the underside of the clutch housing, either the rear main seal of the engine or the input shaft seal(s) of the transmission are leaking. Does the oil look black like engine oil from a diesel or cleaner like hydraulic oil?

    My MF 65 diesel had a lot of smoke coming out of the valve cover vent when I bought it. I assumed it was blow by from the pistons. I eventually found that the head gasket was blown from the #3 cylinder to where the oil drains down from the valve train.
