    Rental sale depreciation question

Some of you guys have rentals. Owned a place for a few years and sold it January 2023. How do you figure the depreciation for that one month? Do I calculate the year's depreciation (3.636) and divide by 12 for January's amount? Or is there a difference decimal I gotta use? I can't find IRS...

New Holland TL 90 pto problem

New to me 2004 NH TL 90 tractor with loader with only 900 hours. PTO will stop under load, but not always. Was hauling manure and did a couple loads then it stopped mid-load. Took off spreader an it worked. It has the electric over hydraulic pull/push knob to engage. I wouldn't think it's an...

    Fertilizer question for Northern guys

Anybody ever fertilize hay ground in late fall after the grass goes dormant and before the snow flies? Long story short I have some ground that is low and isn't always easy to fertilize in the spring. I would assume as long as a few rains pound it in it should be effective with minimal loss...

    Radiator stop leak

I have a pretty small leak in the radiator core somewhere on a tractor. I notice it weeping from the fins. Of course tearing out the radiator would be optimal, but are there any thoughts on adding some type of stop leak?

    flying belgian and cx100

I think you have the cx100 like i do. Anyway, if you recall earlier this fall I had the master warning light coming on. I finally figured out the pto lever must work it's way forward just enough some times to trigger the warning. A quick push back on the lever and the problem is solved. Just...

    Bull and winter hay usage

How many typical hardcore 4x5 bales you figure a 2000 lb angus bull would eat per month in a northern Wisconsin winter. I just need a ballpark figure... nothing scientific. Again, I'd like to know per month.
