1939 John Deere L transmission bearing

Good day,

I am currently replacing the bearings in a 1939 L with the top shift transmission.

I was able to get 5 out of the 6 bearings however I am having a really tough time locating a new AL 2161 T.

This is for the upper shaft rear bearing.

The bearing shows "Power USA S-1206" and has an open inner race.

O.D.2.44"
I.D. 1.5"
Depth .5"

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated. I have searched the internet and a couple of local bearing shops with no avail but shrugged shoulders.

You can pop the shield out of the side on any bearing, so don't let that limit your choices.

Are you certain the O.D. isn't 2.4375" ?

I think it is a roller bearing and "open inner race" would mean that the race is removable from the bearing.

I found the bearing if anyone needs to replace the John Deere part number AL2161 T.

It is a "Caterpiller" part number 9H-8712

Thanks again,

Brian
