The Winnipeg Trials were the predecessor to the Nebraska tests.

Buffalo-Pitts gas tractor. The venture into gas traction engines appears to be sporadic. There are listings for 1910-11 for this model. Buffalo-Pitts continued building steam traction engines int the twenties. Their claim to fame was steam rollers and eventually were combined with Kelly Springfield to create Buffalo Springfield which built some steam rollers, but far more gas engine rollers.
