I've seen mulching blades for a mower, but never dethatching blades. Do you have a picture?

FYI.. Detaching blades have springs that attach to the outer edge of the blade. The blades are not really made for cutting.

You can find them sometimes at Lowe's, Home Depot or lawn equipment dealers. They are also sold all over the interweb. Just have to make sure that what you buy will fit your brand and model of mower.

Also, it's important to wear eye and face protection, LOL!
