IH number 34 hay conditioner belt part number

Hi, I have an IH number 34 hay conditioner and have been trying to locate a part number for the ribbed flat belt that drives the
rollers. Does anyone have an idea what the part number is? I was at the dealer and nothing comes up for even a parts manual.

Nice machine! I've been looking for a 34 for the rubber over steel roller setup.

The number is: 472177R1

There are none at the Parts Depot at this time. Messick's, Shoup & Tractorhouse do return that part number. Not as cheap as they used to be, but still cheaper than expected. If you drop that number into a search, you may find more options.

Thank you very much. I don't need the belt yet but.... want to be prepared if and when I do. I bought this one to use in some of the waterway had I do. Some is so thick at times it doesn't cure evenly. Sure makes a difference on drying time.

Since you do not yet need it,measure. Length and cross section. Then call JayDee Enterprises.Google em. They are belt specialists. They can get you the correct belt from the measurements.They can also tell you how to measure. Plus they have an extensive data base.At a cost that will be about half of OEM. Good people to deal with.

You have a good point, research it now. By the time he needs it, the price will be 3x.... if it's even available anymore.
