Everything that guy said is accurate. Unfortunately, IH knotters have a stigma from generations of fear of the unknown. The anecdotes from the few troubled knotters far outstrips ten thousand trouble-free machines. Whenever someone cant fix something, then it must be the machines fault. Thats like saying its the corn pickers fault because someone lost their hand trying to unplug snapping rolls while it was running.

As I've found, keep them adjusted & clean. There will be few worries.

Had a neighbor who was certain that, if you clean the knotters off & clean out from under them, they'll miss. There was so much gunk built up on the breast plate that it started to rot out.

Really wonder about people at times!
