Can I put dual wheels on my Farmall H by sliding the Main rim in all the way on the axle shaft and then put another rim and tire on the outer part of the axle shaft??? Anyone ever seen it done? Is the shaft long enough? Dont want to do it with threaded rod threw the wheel weight holes.

flip the inside wheels around, you can either take the rim off the hub and flip the hub, or slide the whole hub and rim off and install that on the other side. then you can mount the outers and have enough room.

Back in the '50s & '60s we had a SM that we ran duals on. Duals were the cast iron centers just like the originals. We would remove the original wheel, put one of the extras on with the wheel center concaves facing out & slide it on the put the original back on with the concave facing in.

Thanks guys. Ran a 3 bottom plow last spring and the one tire would spin a little, think tractor is rated for a 2 bottom. I have another H that sits and gonna pull off one rim and tire for next springs plowing

I have seen it done quite a bit the way they are describing. I have heard they tend to clog up easily. If you are clogging up duals you shouldn't be out there moldboarding anyhow.
Just so it is said, you should really only run a dual on the onland side.

just curoius, how much weight are you running on the rears? prolly need at least 2 cast weights on each back wheel if your pulling a 3 bottom. may even want to consider loading the back tires for ballast, then you wouldnt need to dual her up.

Watch that turning to the left with a dual wheel on. Wheel will probably take out the levers on the plow. Luck Bernie Steffen
