lucas voltage regulator adjustment

Is there any adjustment on these regulators?

If you can get the cover off-- you can adjust it. The post you want to play with is the one connected to the resistor on the bottom side. This will make it charge less or more. The Armeture post is the disconnect. The other post cuts the generator back after the battery come up. Make sure the Armeture points disconect when you turn the engine off!

To add more detail... Leave the relay with the coil of HEAVY wire alone, as it is the "cutout relay".

The coil wound with light wire is the VOLTAGE regulator relay.
