I need to replace the cutter bar belt on my 477. Has anyone used or heard of a lace belt? If such a thing exists it sure would save alot of time. Where could a person find such a belt?

Local industrial suppliers should have them. Don't know how well it will hold up on the haybine tho. I guess you could try it if you're not worried about buying the right belt and doing it again tomorrow...

Finale got the n.h. 477 gear box off.Turned into a major job.As long as I have it apart I am going to replace bearings.Does the inside bearing slide over the the splines? Sure seems there must be a easier way to replace cutter belt.
