I need some help removing the bottom pulley on the variable drive going to the transmission. I have a 300 that I use. It has a bolt and washer in front of the pulley. When I remove this bolt the pulley will slide off. I purchased a machine for parts. It has the same bolt and washer, but when I removed it the pulley will not budge. Would there be a difference in different years? I cannot budge it with pullers. I sure would appreciate some help. Thanks.

Use lots of penetrating oil and perhaps some heat and well placed light tapping ,,.I have sprayed oil on these rascals for monthes every other day or so before finally getting them lose .. There are 5 Around here ranging in build year 1964 to a diesel in 76 ,, All seem to be identical and interchangable .. PS. Now ,I have to fix tranny forks on diesel because the clutch was not disengaging,, Get that clutch working ,caue you don't want to do what I gotta do ,, The 300 is probably the best machine in its time ever built . GOOD Luck ,Jim
