Hi all, just wondering if a White Trend would be a good show project. Did most come out with 327(chevy)engine or where there others? Boco

The larger models had the 366 engine in it. I personally think it would be a great project. I've never seen one at a show although I do know of someone that has 5 of them. I wish I could find one that had the Country Wagon camper package because that would be hard for me to resist. I plan to do a story on the series in the near future but can't seem to find a restored one to put on the cover.

OK, guys, I'll be the dummy for all of us- What is a White Trend? Sounds like laundry detergent. But would have to be a big box to have a camper package.

It is a truck. When I worked at the dealership we had one for a truck. Had to have a seperate contract to sell them. A fair number of Oliver dealers in the Columbus branch had them.

There is some original literature on E-bay now. I have to agree, it would be a fun project.

Thanks! Looked at the picture on the ebay site, and I'd like one of those for a "usin'" truck. I picked up a Hino with a 14 foot van box in satisfaction of a debt, and what a handy rig it is. My kids don't ever have to rent a Uhaul to move! I like the cabover style.
