How can I go about bench testing my magneto for my WC (39)

Hold the magneto with one hand over the plug wire holes, other hand turn the impulse. Feel the spark!

Or...put the mag in a vise with a plug and wire on a terminal. Spin it over while grounding the spark plug. I've been on the receiving end of a plug wire. Not something I would advise anyone to willingly partake in.

Some guys can do that and don't mind the bite. Most will drop the mag and break the case, expensive.
