Hello, I have a Ford Dorset 6D engine that I am planning on installing in my 1975 Ford F-250.

The trouble I am Having is sourcing a bell housing to mate this engine to a transmission. I see in the photo gallery that user "cdmn" posted a picture of an engine like this with a transmission mounted to it.
If cdmn, or anyone has any information about this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
Brett.

Do a goggle search for "Ford Dorset 6D engine". There is a lot of information for applications with part numbers. Some info provided states
330 cu in, 100 hp, 160 lb torque @ 1500 rpm, etc

I don't know where mine originally came from, but probably from a 1963-66 Ford truck or school bus. Model N6000, for example. They used both 4 cyl and 6 cyl engines. Both old-fashioned 4 speed and a New Process 5 speed transmission was used. Much more widely available in Great Britain.
