I have a EISEMANN MAGNETO RC 2H that I need to have tested and repaired if possible. Is there anyone out there that could share information with me, preferably in the Portland or Vancouver areas.

The Magneto is off a 1938 Caterpillar 12K motor Grader, and it is not giving me any spark when trying to start.

Hopefully there is someone that can help

Odds are the points need cleaned or replaced. Have you tried to
clean them?

The RC2H magneto is counterclock wise and yes you can clean points but check the coil first
if he has power and check point and condenser and am still have one in good condition with
new plate (cap).

Thank you for your assistance, but over the weekend we cleaned the points and reset them also. We also have a starter fabricated to the pony motor, and last fall the starter had to be replaced, we asked the dealer if it turned the same way they said yes but we found it did not, so we twisted the belt to turn the starter the correct way, and low and behold she fired and runs great.

Thanks for your assistance
