658 round bailer troubles

OK I have a 658 roundbaler with and tripping of the string pivoting arm problem . it has the auto tie system and it tripped but the arms go all the way into the middle of the bail and stay there . tThey will not go back to the bailing position any suggestions? Mad

There is a spring loaded pin that goes into the arm. It is a protection device. Push the arms all the way out to re-set it. It will take a little effort to get the pin to snap back into the hole. It will be ovious when you get under there and take a look.

They can be a pain to get back in sometimes I've
had to loosen the lock bolt to get it back in just
make sure you screw the bolt back ito the same
position it was
