I ask this question now and then....

I saw a TO-20 years ago with a front blade that was moved by a pump mounted like a generator that ran off the fan belt. have never seen another one like it. anyone here see anything like it ?

My bet it was a jeep snowplow kit, pump runs off the fan belt like a power steering unit on a car, the rest is a welding job.
My Cockshutt has a power steering pump off the belt like that... works when it feels like it...

at the time this Ferguson was bought there was Ferguson franchise in town. often wondered if there was a connection to the set up.

i think it was a done on differnt tractors.my dad used to tell about a cousins f 12 with that set up.

Many Fordsons in Australia were fitted with blades that sound like this .

I've seen a few over the years. HY-LO jeep pumps. Have one out in the barn. Used it with a pto V pulley on the HG cletrac to power a blade.
