Hello,

Does anyone know the outer diameter of the thin wall steel tubes in the head for the Ferguson TEA 20 with Standard engine ? The tubes where the push rods goes through.

Thanks in advance.

Moss motors sells new tubes for Triumph 2,3,4 but does not state the size.
A forum mentioned they at .022 thousands (nearly 1 mm) to large to fit the whole.
Ferguson shop manual shows a nice swaging tool.

Does the manual state how many Carling Black Labels it took to get over this project? Look at that hobby saw... 3 fingers that he will feel the rest of the week. and how exactly do you drive each half out from the saw cut? New maybe, after 60 or 70 years of crud? A Bridgeport or drill press job. Bill- what happened to the tube to get into this adventure?
