Anybody know the soft plug size to get a block heater in the block?

Why not use the 3/8" pipe plug htr? I have them in all mine they work very well, I have never seen a frost plug htr in one not sure if there is room

Shows it in parts book I don't think we have pipe plug heaters this far east, where do you get them? Back to the VAIW the steering box is built into that center housing.

580E uses the Cummins 4B engine.
Google block heater for Cummins 4B or6B engine.
Same heater.

Usually installs in middle frost plug with element pointed down.

Sorry I can't remember size.

My VAIW has the box Not built into the torque tube, and I get the htrs from my Case dealer, I will get a pic of the VAIW I have and show you what I mean,, its steering style does not seem common at all

OPS I somehow missed the "E" SORRY Yes they have a plug htr

You can web search Kats engine heater catalog , they will match a unit to the application.
