Getting ready to put crankshaft in engine block, went to look for my engine assembly lube. Could not find it anywhere, Grinch must have taken it. So today went to town and bought another tube, making sure everything is clean, installed Main bearings in block and caps. hhhhmmmm was looking in roll around draws for for something else, waalaa there was my assembling lube, if it had been a snake, would have bitten me.
Grinch must have brought it back when I wasn't looking, gonna set a trap for that durn Grinch, but then I'll probably loose the trap.

Have a good day

So you arn't special. When I havent been able to find the spraycan of white, red, orange, black, hunter green, clearcoat, or tan. Go buy another can. When you get home the other can will be right where you left it, on the kitchen counter. That is why there are two bottles of contact cement. Four grease guns, two 1/2 air wrenches, all kinds of power cords, six or seven garden hoses, about ten shovels, did I leave anything out? Drives ya crazy. Wink

Plastic pipe under cattle water has pin hole. Picked up two hose clamps in town to fix it. Remember carrying hose clamps out to barn. Haven't see them since. What detained me from fixing it.

Happens all the time in my shop.
Gremlins are the culprits here.
I am the Grinch.

That is why I don't put wrenches back in the tool box as soon as I am done with them. I can remember where I last used them and the Grinch can't find them. You have to be smarter than a Grinch. HeHe.

I normally find it when I go to put the new purchase away, in the obvious spot where it should be stored. I bet I've got three or four big tubs of anti-seize.

Have the "one" in you pocket and then look in one or two unlikely places and you just might find their nest. Then you can throw all of them in the box.
