Found this on the trailer they just sent me to use. Looks like a day of work to get it fixed.

I think they found a resource in your ""Utility"" value. I just hope you are appreciated instead of chided for failing to actually haul something. To me, if understood, it puts variety in the day. Jim

I suspect they knew it when they hired him. lol.

How much less does he get paid verses taking them into a "repair" shop and paying those labor rates ?
Starting to think that company got a lot of equipment not suited or made to do what they do.

Typical stuff for trucks and trailers that get used. Around here, a good mechanic can make more working for a fleet shop or farmer than at a dealership. Doesn't take that many dealer shop bills to pay a mechanic's wages for a year.

If it were up to me, I would fire the guy that did the annual on that trailer though.

I hate electrical work, mainly because I don'r know enough about it. Looks like that trailer has plenty of road salt on it, but I guess that's a given in that area this time of year. Hope the color codes are still visible and truthful on those wires.

Did I mention I hate electrical work?

Looks like you spend more time repairing than driving. Ron MN

It looks like a lot of their equipment has been neglected, what did they do before you got there? It reminds me of the paper mill our son is running in Wisconsin, every time he turns around something is failing!
