I have got a David Bradley walk behind 917.5752 serial # 256 with out a engine. With what research I have done the early one's have a model N Briggs and the later a model 6. The question is which one should I have?

I have the setting up and operating instructions and parts list for the DB, but it doesn't identify what motor is used. If you need the manual contact me.

Can you find out on the 'net what year your machine is from the serial number?

"N" engines were made by Briggs from 1940 - 1954, the "6" series from 1952-1957.

I have one of those. Still has the correct engine on it plus a number of the equipment it came with. Plow Disk Cultivator and sickle bar mower and harrow. I haven't even tried to start it in at least 15 year now
