Heya guys,
Have a Van Brunt press wheel drill, model LL. Would like to source a parts or whole machine.
Do most all of these old drills have interchangeable drops on them?
Mainly looking to replace missingbroken boots, single disc openers.
I am in Kansas City.

Do you have any part/casting numbers? I have some NOS boots that are single disk style but believe they are for a end wheel drill.

The whole single disc opener assemblies, like in the link below. Not sure of the part numbers, but looks correct.
I think these are what I need, R and L

As I got help on/with my drill, I hope to be of help to you.
Question
Is it a horse, or tractor drill?
Ill give you this number, but Im afraid that all they deal with is tractor drills.
You might tell them you want the shank that comes down from the bottom of the drill box to the disc opener. Good luck. 1 580 227 4494

Michael
Drill in your photo appears to have double not single disk openers similar to the link you posted http://farmpartsonline.com/john-deere-van-brunt-grain-drill-complete-right-side-seed-disc-opener-single-disc/

Have you contacted Burrell Equip in Oklahoma for used parts?

I have only the opener BOOT and not the disks or brackets and down pressure rods and springs, although mine may be a later version I think many of them are inter-changeable. I could get pictures. There are several Van Brunt high wheel steel wheel drills coming up on farm auctions and they usually go to the scrap yards.

The drill in the picture is a double disk opener and not a single so no left or right.
