I need to know how to fix cracked fiberglass grille on a 550. Any pointers or suggestions?? Thanks, Chris

google fiberglass repair, repairing it is the same whether its a
Corvette or a tractor grill.

My neighbor repaired mine. The bottom center was broken right out, but I had the piece. The rest of the grill had some pits and dings. He used fiberglass repair and some light body filler before sanding and painting. You'd never know now.

wow. Beautiful tractor!

I need a grille for my 550 as well, before I spend that $290 for the reproduction fiberglass unit, I'd like to find an earlier metal one, if anybody has one for sale...

Looks like you also have power steering, did you have your steering rams rebuilt, if so where? I need mine rebuilt in a bad way, they are pretty shot. I didn't want to use the corvette steering rams yet, I didnt want to have to fabricate a 3/8 to 1/2 thread adapter..

Thank you. The only thing I have done on the power steering rams is replace the end seals which did not require disassembly.
