Just going through my local newspaper archives and saw an ad from the local IH dealer at the time for 2 new Super H Farmalls for $1795. The ad was from 3-23-56 and showed a 300. What I'm wondering is when did IH quit building the Super H model? Thanks, Don

I think 1954 was the last year for the letter model Farmalls.

Super H was built in 53 and 54. My guess is the dealer had two leftover Supers, and was trying to clear them out to make room for new stock (350's or the like), later models.

I bought a snowmobile and motorcycle one time this way. They were termed 'Carryover' models.. Saved a good deal of money doing it that way.

According to the site, it would be about $16,511.58... So a $2500 Stage II Super H would be a pretty good buy, then!
