I just purchased a Jetstar 3, s/n 28300518. The gear shift cover shows gears 1,5; 2,4; 3 and Reverse. It is also equipped with an Amplitorque. Below the 3 is an "S". As far as I can see, there is no gear at that location. The parts books only show the transmission having 5 gears. What does the "S" stand for? Is there a creeper gear option for this transmission?

Start That is supposed to be where the shifter needs to be to start the engine. The start switch is probably wired across and it will start anywhere including in gear.
