Thanks again Tom! Two questions: Is the ashtray that says Studebaker and Ferguson also a Case dealer? And, what does it say under L.B. Brittingham Case Sales and Service? Can't quite make it out. Don

WOW.

i grew up in Laurel DE and Seaford was the next town north. Never heard of either one. i suspect they were long gone by the time i was along (was 5 in 1973 when we moved there).

Brittingham was a common last name around there.

with 3 and 4 digit phone numbers they've got to be pretty old.

the IH dealer in Seaford was Tull brothers. of course they switched to CaseIH and i think they are still around (haven't lived there since 1994)

cannot think of who/where the Case (pre CaseiH) dealer was in the 1980/90's. one neighbor had Cases. 1030, 970 and a larger later model but don't remember the #. put alot of hours in on the 970 cultivating pumpkins and watermellon. a kid they had working for them was flying down the road one day on the 1030 and put a rod the the block. they got a 930 to replace it. must have been a dealer somewhere on the eastern shore.

The AC dealer was pretty popular as we had several neighbors with AC tractors. Pilchard's was the AC dealer i knew of.
