anyone know how much 90w the trans in a wd holds

I-T manual page 5 says it holds 6qts.

no on the wd the trans and diff. are one unit and hold 17 quarts i have a wd and the manual you didn"t go over far enough

There is only one tranny. 6 qts of oil in the hydraulic system, 17 qts in the tranny. I use 10-30 in the hyd, others use hyd-tran type oil. Book says 80EP for tranny. Dad runs hy-trans oil in his and does just fine.

I just pulled the fill cap off next to my hand clutch an mines filled with 90W

The hyd fill and dipstick is on the left side just ahead of the clutch pedal just inside the frame. Tranny, diff, and hand clutch all have drains at the bottom of each. Hand clutch and tranny/diff have separate fill holes on left side of tranny. Fill to level with hole.

Crossed lines and got engine oil instead of trans/rear end.
