they are on the end of side boards and end gates so you can lift the boards off and return them without pins or hasps |

They are rack connectors/locks They are made for corners as you pictured and also in straight versions to lock the tops of side racks together.
Available from HF, TSC, and Northern., plus any good oldfashioned hardware store.
