Well the snow plow just went by from last nights snow squalls. The sun tried to show, and lasted about 20min. In the second pic. if you look close you can see one of the sun dogs that accompanied the sun, and it is gone and snowing again now.

Seems we have a never ending winter this year. Spring will come fast when it does this year. Looks like I won't make it for syrup season this year. Gotta be home for easter so probly won't be able to fit it in.

Loren with all the snow and cold your area has experienced lately does that shorten the sap run season. Our trees still seem to be dormant, Rod.

Rod. It's hard to say. We havent turned a wheel since the Monday before last. When it does warm up it could end in a few days if it warmes like last year. Last year we were tearing down the buckets on the 22nd., cause it was over. We are not suppose to warm up until the first of April according to the two TV stations I watch. If we could get some sun we might warm up, but it's cloudy with passing clippers every day.
