I was looking around the net and found this pic,I do know it was taken in Memphis area, on Sept 22nd 1953.
I really enjoyed the clarity.
Must be the intro of the "500"

I can't answer the question, but, I can add one. What size are those tires? Maybe the angle make them look excessively wide!? A "500" could live in my barn sometime. lol gobble

tires look like 23.1x26 rice tires, i reconize the man in the seat

Remember that almost all indoor photos took a big flash bulb. It did make things shinier than they really were.

Take ah look at how shiney that paint job is wow I have never seen one that nice........Know before you paint experts jump me.....I'am thinking "back-n-day" is all. hee hee down boys down. I have seen some real nice "redo's" that are nice. Like the FFA case from tx. Sorry I forget the lad's name as well as the tractor I think it was black knight. Tom HELP!!! hee hee, Great to have yeah back my freind.

agreed the family does great work, hope his is still hanging here was showing the wife some things from "The Valley" where they are at Padre Island and Gladys Porter Zoo
