i bought a block for another tractor that had a bad block and the block i bought had a cam in it and was told it was taken out of a 400. the block had the bigger bore in it like the super M/400/450 motors did.. im tring to figure out if this cam is better then a stock M cam . the part number on it i found was 45955 and then it had the letters DA below the numbers with an IHC symbol. is this the good 450 cam as everyone calls it?
thanks!

45955DA was used in 400 and 450 tractors until they changed the cam threads to left hand threads on about the last 2/3 of 450 tractors. Then it ended in DB. There was also another number on some cams, but the DA and DB ending on them = the same.
