I just purchased a H3, looks & runs pretty good,
I sent for manuals for it so I can service it properly, I am rebuilding carb. right now, was wondering where the Ser. #"s might be someone said on the left side, on the trans? haven"t found them yet. Also may need engine side covers, and how do I match the yellow paint on it? It"s not Allis Chalmers orange? Was wondering how hard to Adj, brakes & clutchs. Any and all help would be appericated

Serial number is stamped in the clutch housing casting- left side. Where engine bolts in. Will start with D. Look in the 10-11 oclock area.
