Is there any way I can check the year of my ford 6000......the serial number on transmission says its a 66.....but it has the 6000 body work not commander....and it appears it was once red but painted blue except transmission which appears to.always been blue....I assume the transmission is from a commander....but would like to know the tractor year...thanks

So, what are the serial numbers and other numbers on the tractor? You have to give out a little info, my crystal ball is cloudy. Tom

I'm helping a friend work on one that might be a sister---66 trans -- early sheet metal and nose---red rear end with a single key-way rear axel and a down draft manifold and carb-- with a picker on it----be nice to know some history on it -- runs and drives good---- maybe date codes on castings?
