Hello: On the Steiger tractors what does PT and or ST mean on the different models? I"m guessing transmission somethin er other? Which is better PT or ST? Thank you in advance!!!

st is standerd tred frame, rc is ro crop frame and pt is the pto ecuiped trator, the number is a horse power ratting.
a a cougar pta280 is a cougar level tractor with a pto and an allason automatic trans mission with eater a cat six cyl or a cummins six cylinder rated about 280 hp

PT stands for pto
which is rare and the pto alone will bring up to $10,000
if you get a good deal on a PT model go for it

Frames are different between a ST and a PT too. The PT frames are narrower on some of them.
