What is the going rate for a CAT D4 like that one? Where is the ID plate to know what year it is? A fellow down the state has a CAT D2 for sale. says his cousin rebuilt the engine a couple of years ago and it runs great (has pony engine). Asking 7500 told him he was way tooo HI. I know condition, condition, condition.

D4 will go from 3000 to 8000 depending on condition
The serial # plate is on the left upper rear of the machine and on the engine behind the pony clutch lever.
7500 seems a little high for the D2 unless its in excellent condition.
