Im trying to go from a 6 lug hub to a 5 lug hub on the front of my 88. Any ideas

Drill and tap new holes?

The hub is to big for the center of the wheels that ive got to go on it

Let me see if I got this right, you want to use a wheel with bolt holes and you have the heavy cast hub. You will need to find some light hubs. The bearings appear to be the same.

Nope wont work bc the original oliver hun is to big for the wheels i have to go on it. Ive been told to get trailer hubs but cannot find any that match up

We have a set of the light weight hubs and rims for them at work. $150.00 plus freight.

Try searching or posting on the pulling section of the forum I remember once apon a time a couple of guys talking about using trailer hubs like you said but in a lil more detailed info. Good luck, joe
