I picked up a D21 the other day that I'm wondering might be a real collector piece. It is serial number 1931 which makes it a late 1964 Series 1. But this tractor has the turbo on it and the radiator cap through the hood. So if I understand correctly, this tractor had the kit or pieces installed to make it like a series 2. Anyone know how many of these kits were installed?

I doubt if there are any records from AC but they did furnish the kit to make a series 1 to a series 2 , too bad someone did that cause it cuts the collector value of the tractor ; but at the time the owner wanted more power and who would have thought a series 1 AC D21 would be worth 20 grand

I was thinking this one with the kit could be worth more than a series 1 without the upgrade kit because I guessed there was a lot less that had the kit installed than what didn't have the kit installed.
