Hi. Our G is a 48 and it has a vertical gas tank, with an opening in the flat top for gas input, but this is not seen in any of the book I have. So I'm guessing this is a PO modification?

I assume no fenders means ours have been taken off rusted out or for a different tractor?

Also we have 3 stets of fount spindles of two different vertical lengths. Any comment on this?

Sorry no pictures, but the tractor is in the shade and therefore not enough light to photograph.

gas tank must be a custom set up if it is different from what the manuals show.

i dont think that there were any stock spindles that were different but i am not an expert by any means.

fenders mount to the gas tank. if you have a different gas tank the original fenders may still be with the original tank

Thanks. I think the gas tank is the original, but has been modified to allow an after market hyd. pump instantiation.

the tank is the original, but turned up and re- engineered. Allis only used one spindle height, but many modifications have been performed over the last 60 odd years!

Mounting some fenders is going to take some custom bracket work as the fuel tank and it's mount were used. Shoot me your email, I have some manuals that might help on this project

Thanks Joe. I all ready got the manuals from you, and was just making sure as to some of the oddities we found with ours (after I posted I realized the re-engr). There neat little tractors, but there mighty different from the WC-WD-WD45 series we are familiar with.

We'll probably forget about the fenders, and use the gas tank as is. Now if we can just find the time to work on it!
